A personal portfolio, creative workspace, and interactive platform — all in one. Here's everything you need to know to explore it fully.

Navigation

The site is organized as a set of app-like sections. You navigate between them by clicking icons on the home screen or using the left sidebar.

Home Screen Icons

  • Click any icon to open that section.
  • Right-click (or long-press on mobile) an icon to get options like Remove from Home.
  • Drag an icon from the left sidebar onto the home screen to add it back.

Left Sidebar

  • Always visible on the left edge — click any icon to jump to that section.
  • Drag icons from the sidebar onto the home screen to pin them there.

Going Back

  • Click the Home icon in the sidebar to return to the home screen from anywhere.
Tip: The site remembers your last visited section — refreshing the page brings you right back.

Themes & Wallpapers

Customize the entire look of the site with themes — from soft gradients to classic paintings and vintage comics.

Changing the Theme

  • Click the wallpaper icon in the bottom-right area of the home screen.
  • Browse categories: Gradient, Picture, Illustration, Comics.
  • Click a thumbnail to preview it, then click Use this to apply.
Tip: Your chosen theme is saved automatically — it'll be there next time you visit.

Power On

A dedicated portfolio space with a gallery of works, notes, and a music player — all in a minimal desktop-like environment.

Gallery

  • Click any image thumbnail to see full details — filename, dimensions, and description.
  • Use the top bar to switch between Gallery and Notes.

Notes

  • Browse notes organized in folders on the left panel.
  • Click a note to open it in the editor area.
  • Use the icon to bookmark notes you want to find quickly.
  • Use the Search panel to find notes by keyword.

Music Player

  • Click the music note icon in the top bar to open the player.
  • Search for YouTube tracks or play from the saved list.

Wallpaper

  • Click the icon in the top bar to change the Power On background independently from the main site theme.

Reads

A curated news feed with articles on technology, culture, lifestyle, and more — plus an AI chat assistant to explore them further.

Reading Articles

  • The top card shows the featured story — click it to read the full article.
  • Scroll down to browse more articles in the list.
  • Click any article title to open the full text in a reading view.
  • Use the ← Back button to return to the feed.

Filtering by Category

  • Use the category chips (Top Story, World, Tech, Culture…) to filter articles.

Ask Lee (AI Chat)

  • Click Ask Lee inside any article to chat with an AI about that piece.
  • Ask follow-up questions, get summaries, or explore related ideas.

Chat

An AI-powered chat assistant that knows all about Hyunhwa. Ask questions, explore her work, or just have a conversation.

Starting a Chat

  • Type your message in the input box and press Enter or click the send button.
  • Use the quick suggestion chips to jump straight to popular topics.

Greetings

A community bulletin board where visitors can leave messages, share thoughts, or just say hello.

Leaving a Message

  • Click + Write to open the message form.
  • Choose a badge (Chat, Question, Hello, etc.) to tag your post.
  • Type your message and hit Post.

Managing Your Posts

  • Your own posts show a delete button — click it to remove them.
  • Posts are paginated — use the page buttons to browse older messages.

Guestbook

Leave a lasting message in the guestbook — a personal note that lives alongside all previous visitors.

  • Enter your name and a message, then click Sign.
  • All entries are visible to everyone who visits.

Music

A built-in Spotify player featuring a curated playlist. Listen while you explore the rest of the site.

  • Click Music on the home screen to open the player.
  • Play, pause, skip, and adjust volume using the Spotify controls.
  • The player keeps running as you browse — music doesn't stop when you switch sections.

Crayon

A full drawing canvas right in the browser. Draw, sketch, experiment with color — then save your artwork.

Drawing Tools

  • Pen — smooth, pressure-sensitive strokes.
  • Rainbow — draws with a continuously shifting color spectrum.
  • Eraser — removes parts of your drawing.

Brush Size

  • Click the size dots in the sidebar or top bar to switch between Small, Medium, and Large.

Color Panel

Click Colors to open the color panel. It has three tabs:

  • Palettes — curated color pairs; click the background or the dot to pick that color.
  • Harmony — automatically generated color harmonies (Complement, Triadic, Pastel, Story…) based on your current color.
  • Custom — a circular color wheel. Pick any hue and saturation by clicking, then adjust Lightness, Hue, and Contrast with the sliders. Type a hex code directly if you know it.
Tip: The panel is resizable — drag the top edge up to make it taller and see more color chips at once.

Actions

  • Undo the last stroke.
  • Redo.
  • Clear the canvas.
  • Save your drawing as a PNG file.

Calendar

A minimalist monthly calendar with international holidays, accessible from the home screen.

Opening the Calendar

  • Click Calendar in the bottom bar, or click the second dot indicator at the bottom of the home screen.
  • The home screen icons slide out and the calendar slides in.
  • Click the first dot (or the Calendar button again) to return to the icons.

Navigating Months

  • Use the and arrows to move between months.
  • Today's date is highlighted with a white circle.

Holidays

  • Pink — Korean national holidays
  • Blue — US holidays
  • Green — International observances

Memo

A quick-access sticky note system always available from the bottom bar.

Creating a Memo

  • Click Memo in the bottom bar to open the memo panel.
  • Type in the input field and press Enter or click + to add a note.

Managing Memos

  • Click a memo to mark it as done (strikethrough).
  • Click the × button to delete a memo permanently.

Sending a Memo

  • Click the share icon on a memo to send it as a Greetings post or Guestbook entry.
Tip: Memos are saved locally in your browser — they persist between visits on the same device.
